Gareth Bale is reportedly considering a Premier League return.

Gareth Bale is considering a move back to the Premier League according to reports.

Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claims an exclusive, reporting that Bale's agent is pushing for his client to return to England.

Bale was a central figure under Rafa Benitez at Real Madrid and was disgruntled when the Spaniard was fired.

The former Tottenham star has been injured for much of Zinedine Zidane's reign as manager, and so has been unable to build up much chemistry with the legendary Frenchman since his appointment.

Real Madrid are pushing to get Bale to renew his contract until 2021, but the report claims Bale's entourage are pushing for a Premier League comeback.

Whether this is simply part of a negotiating tactic is unclear, but it would not be the first time.

Manchester United and Manchester City are both named as interested clubs in the report, with Bale costing Real a world record £86 million in 2013.
