Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Henri Lansbury's performance against Brighton & Hove Albion

Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.

Nottingham Forest supporters have praised Henri Lansbury’s performance against Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.

Lansbury was given a more attacking role in the side, and he put in an excellent display which showed his quality.

The 25-year-old has generally beens stationed in a defensive midfield position this season, but Paul Williams gave him more freedom to get forward last night.

And Lansbury rewarded his manager’s decision by putting on one of his best performances throughout the campaign to date.

The former Arsenal trainee caused Brighton’s defence problems all night, and he looked like a very dangerous outlet.

Lansbury set-up Dexter Blackstock to score Forest’s goal, but his good performance was not enough to help the Midlands side pick up the three points.

Brighton took the lead when Lewis Dunk scored, before Blackstock struck an equaliser.

It then looked as if the match was heading towards a draw, but Steve Sidwell struck in the last minute to provide his side with a vital three points in the race for promotion.

Although the defeat was a disappointment for Forest supporters, they still were very impressed by Lansbury’s display. Here is the best reaction on social media site Twitter.
