Harry Forrester is delighted to have agreed a new deal.
Rangers midfielder Harry Forrester has told supporters it was an easy decision to make to renew his contract at the club.
Forrester signed in January on a six-month deal, and with this close to expiring, fans were growing anxious for an extension to be agreed.
The club announced on their official website on Tuesday morning that he had signed a new contract, which runs until 2019.
Forrester sent a message to Rangers fans via Twitter to thank them for their support.
Delighted to have signed a new contract. Thanks to everyone for making the decision so easy! Many good times ahead— Harry Forrester (@harry_forrester) April 12, 2016
He has really impressed since making the switch north of the border in January. The 26-year-old has scored five goals so far for the club, and hopes to be involved in the upcoming cup tie against Celtic.
Forrester has played an important role in helping Rangers break clear at the top of the Scottish Championship and clinch promotion to the Premier League with games to spare, and hopes to end the season on a high.
