Tottenham Hotspur youngster Nya Kirby continues to make a strong impression at the club, having recently been invited to train with the first team.
Kirby, 16, mixed it alongside the likes of Dele Alli and Erik Lamela last month, ahead of a Europa League clash against Borussia Dortmund.
He made his first start for Tottenham's under-18 side in early March, and continues to impress, being one of two players picked out for his latest performance by coach Kieran McKenna.
Speaking to the official club website, McKenna said: "I thought there were some good aspects to the game – George Marsh and Nya Kirby, the two midfielders, combined well to get through a tough Middlesbrough side."
Spurs lost the game 1-0, with McKenna adding: "I thought the front four were a threat, the tempo of the game was good but we had two or three big moments in the game to score a goal and we weren’t clinical enough to take them."
Tottenham were let down by the finishing of the strikers, but had no shame in losing to a Middlesbrough team who are top of the table of the final stage of the under-18 season in their group, with Chelsea topping the top tier.
Spurs are fifth in the second tier, with teams split into three tiers of eight teams.
