Tim Sherwood predicts there is more to come from this Tottenham team.
Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood has told BBC Sport that he thinks Spurs will have more chances to win the Premier League title.
Sunday's 3-0 win over Manchester United was yet another great day for Mauricio Pochettino, who has overseen a quite remarkable season from Tottenham this term.
The result means Tottenham sit seven points behind league leaders Leicester City, and whilst it looks like their bid for the title will ultimately fall short, Champions League football will return to White Hart Lane next season.
Despite having many top young players, like Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Dele Alli, many feel that this was Spurs best and only chance to win the Premier League title, given that teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are well off the pace.
However, former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood - who was replaced by Pochettino back in 2014 - has told BBC Sport that he disagrees with that particular idea.
Sherwood predicts that, whilst next season will be much tougher with Chelsea and Manchester City appointing new managers, Tottenham are set up to succeed down the line, and he thinks there will be another title push from Spurs in the near future.
The ex-Aston Villa manager ended by answering whether there is more to come from this Tottenham team - and he said there 'absolutely' is.
"Next year it is going to get harder, that is for sure, but I don't think this season is Spurs' only chance," said Sherwood. "If they don't win it this year, then I think a lot of people would say they will be among the favourites to win it in the future. I would agree with them. Is there more to come from them? Absolutely." he added.
