Leeds United have failed to win of their last four Championship matches.
Steve Evans has insisted on LUTV that the mood in Leeds United’s dressing room remains good, despite their poor run of form.
The Whites have failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions, and they were beaten 1-0 by Burnley in their latest outing.
However, Evans insists that his players are playing well - and the results will come if they keep putting in similar performances.
“You keep it on a level keel,” he said. “The performances are the difference between whether it feels low or high. The boys know we played well on Saturday. I didn’t need to tell them that, but I did.
“We did okay at Rotherham. We lost a game we should never have lost. We had a poor 45 minutes. So we’ve had a bad 45 minutes, but other than that if we get the same performance levels as we did in at Burnley then I’ll take every performance like that.”
Leeds' disappointing run of results has come after the Yorkshire side had started to move up the Championship table.
The Whites won for three successive matches for the first time this season last month, but they have failed to keep that momentum going.
Leeds are now in 15th place, and they could slip further down the table if they fail to beat Birmingham City on Tuesday evening.
The Blues come into the match on the back of a 2-0 win over Reading, and need a victory to keep their slim hopes of making the play offs alive.
