David Henen has message for Everton and Fleetwood fans on Twitter

David Henen has returned to Everton from a loan spell at Fleetwood Town.

Everton youngster David Henen has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at his return to the club from a loan spell at Fleetwood Town.

The 19-year-old, who can play as a winger or as a striker, has been recalled to Goodison Park and has been drafted into the Toffees’ Under-21 side for this evening’s game against their Chelsea counterparts.

The Belgian youngster has stated on Twitter that he enjoyed his time at Fleetwood, and has also made it clear to the Everton fans that he will do his best between now and the end of the season.

Henen joined Everton on a permanent contract in the summer of 2015, but he has yet to make his debut in the Premier League. The youngster is highly rated and is said to be one for the future.

The former Olympiacos prospect joined Fleetwood on a short-term deal in November and made 13 appearances in all competitions for the League One outfit.

The Belgian managed to score just one goal for Steven Pressley’s side and struggled with injury problems during his time at the Highbury Stadium.

Henen will now be looking to continue his development at Everton and play regularly for the Merseyside outfit’s Under-21 side between now and the end of the season.
