Remi Garde has lost his job as Aston Villa manager - who could replace him?
Aston Villa announced on last month that manager Remi Garde has left the club by mutual consent, less than five months into the job.
Garde only arrived as Villa manager back in November following the departure of Tim Sherwood, and was brought in with a view to saving the club from relegation.
However, just two Premier League wins under him mean that Villa remain bottom of the table and now 15 points adrift of safety, with relegation to the Championship inevitable now.
Garde's departure means that bookmakers are looking at who could replace the Frenchman at Villa Park - and with odds compiled by Oddschecker, here are some of today's biggest movers...
Simon Grayson: The Preston boss has won promotion with every club he has managed (Blackpool, Leeds United, Huddersfield Town, Preston) and has impressed with North End this season, taking them to tenth in their first season back in the Championship. A former Villa defender with ties to the club, Grayson's odds have been slashed to 6/1 now, making him a frontrunner for the job.
Mark Warburton: Rangers boss Warburton arrived at Ibrox last summer having left Brentford, and has taken the club to the Scottish Championship title already. Warburton will always be linked with a return to England having impressed in the Championship last season, and he is now in at 25/1 to become Villa boss - still an outsider, but in the conversation.
David Moyes: One of the main names being linked with the job, Moyes is now down to 7/2 to arrive at Villa. The former Manchester United boss is looking to rebuild his career having struggled at Old Trafford and Real Sociedad, and may be willing to drop down to the Championship in order to do so, with Villa an attractive proposition.
The favourite - Nigel Pearson: Still the clear favourite for the job, former Leicester boss Pearson has been out of work for almost a year now. His experience of winning promotion from the Championship with Leicester will be a huge factor for Villa, and he is the 11/8 favourite for the job right now.
Who would you like to see become Villa manager?
