Rodney Marsh makes a joke when describing Leicester player’s brilliant display

Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante was superb yet again this weekend.

Former Manchester City player Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter in order to comment on N’Golo Kante’s superb display during Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Sunderland this weekend.

The Foxes moved one step closer to the Premier League title as two Jamie Vardy goals momentarily moved them ten points clear of Tottenham Hotspur in second place.

The England international was lethal on the counter-attack, and he deservedly picked up the plaudits after the match following yet another great contribution towards Leicester’’s remarkable title bid.

But arguably the game’s outstanding player was tireless midfielder N’Golo Kante, with his endless running and tracking back once again earning strong recognition from pundits and observers alike.

Kante arrived at Leicester last summer as an unknown quantity, yet ten months on he is now a full France international and likely a summer target for a number of top European clubs.

His performance against Sunderland illustrated what he is all about - full of running, endeavour and energy as he posted an impressive seven tackles and four interceptions over the course of the 90 minutes.

Claudio Ranieri’s side have exceeded all expectations this season, although as they close in on the title each passing victory becomes less of a shock as their undoubted quality is finally gaining the recognition it deserves.
