Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Vertonghen and Lamela displays against Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur won against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Jan Vertonghen against Manchester United on Sunday evening.

Vertonghen started the Premier League game at White Hart Lane in North London and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Spurs won 3-0.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, the Belgium international central defender took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 97%, won 33% of his tackles, and made one interception, five clearances and one block.

The 28-year-old centre-back started on his return from injury and went in place of Kevin Wimmer.

Vertonghen played well and Tottenham fans were impressed, as demonstrated by their reaction on Twitter below:

Tottenham fans have also given their reaction on Twitter to Erik Lamela’s performance against United.

The 24-year-old Argentina international attacker scored the third and final goal in the 3-0 victory.

Lamela took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 50%, created two chances, put in four crosses, attempted one dribble, won 67% of his tackles, and made two interceptions, two clearances and five blocks.
