Tony Fernandes gives his opinion on Ben Gladwin's cameo for Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers' Ben Gladwin has made just three appearances for the club in the Championship so far.

Queens Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has suggested that he felt Ben Gladwin did well on his return to the first-team yesterday.

Gladwin made his first appearance for Rangers since January, after coming off the substitutes’ bench late on in the second half of his side's match against Charlton Athletic.

The attacking midfielder helped, as QPR managed to score a last minute winner - and Fernandes was impressed by what he saw.

Gladwin’s time at QPR has been very frustrating so far, as he has struggled to make much of an impression.

The 23-year-old joined from Swindon Town last summer, and he was one of the stars of the London side’s pre-season, but he has failed to make much of an impact since the competitive action started.

Gladwin has made just three Championship appearances in total for the R’s, and his future has already been called into question.

Gladwin has been on loans spells at both Swindon and Bristol City, but he now looks set to be given a chance back at Loftus Road.
