Leeds United are due to take on Birmingham City on Tuesday evening.
Leeds have failed to win any of their last four matches, and Evans is set to tinker to try and find the winning formula on Tuesday evening, after seeing his side beaten 1-0 by Burnley in their latest outing.
Leeds could not pick up a result against the league leaders, but Evans says that he was impressed by the impact some of his substitutes made on the game.
“We’ll freshen up in system and in personnel,” he insisted. “We had some good performances off the bench [against Burnley]. I thought every one of the lads who came on made a contribution.”
Leeds have been hard to predict tactically of late, with the Yorkshire side playing both 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 formations in their recent matches.
Evans has not been able to stop Leeds’ from sliding down the Championship standings, though, and they are now bunched with a group of teams in mid-table.
Leeds are currently in 15th place, but they are only two points clear of Rotherham United in 21st position.
The Whites’ next match against Birmingham will be a challenge, as Gary Rowett’s men go into the match on the back of a 2-0 victory over Reading.
