Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Daniel Sturridge against Stoke City on Sunday evening.
Sturridge started the Premier League game for Liverpool at Anfield and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The England international, who has now fully recovered from his injury problems, scored for the Reds, who won the game 4-1 with relative ease.
The 26-year-old striker took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 80%, put in one cross and attempted one dribble.
Sturridge was a constant threat to the Stoke defence, and his link-up play with Divock Origi in the second half was very encouraging.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City is still not at his best, but he is showing some very promising signs at the moment.
