Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Southampton had 51% of the possession, took 20 shots of which six were on target, and earned 11 corners.

Visitors Newcastle had 49% of the possession, took five shots of which three were on target, and earned two corners.

The Saints will return to action next weekend when they take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
