Paris FC defender Bilel Mohsni has told The Scottish Sun that Rangers star Lee Wallace deserves all the praises that he is getting at the moment.
Wallace has been superb for Rangers so far this season and has been an important player in their Scottish Championship success.
The 28-year-old left-back has helped the Gers win the Scottish Championship title this campaign and gain automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
Mohsni, who was on the books of Rangers from 2013 until the end of the 2014-15 season, is pleased to see his former club return to the top flight of Scottish football.
The Tunisia international defender has also reserved special praise for Wallace, who has been at Rangers since 2011.
“I’m delighted for everyone at the club and all the fans,” Mohsni told The Scottish Sun. “I am most pleased for Lee Wallace, he deserves all the praise going.
“He stayed with the club when they went down and if anyone deserves some success, it’s Lee. To go from the Third to the top division, as Lee has done, is brilliant.
“Guys like him are what Rangers are all about. He’s a credit to the club and I am thrilled he is captain. But I think all the players in the past four years deserve some kind of praise — even me!”
Rangers will return to action this afternoon when they take on Peterhead at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the final of the Scottish Challenge Cup.
Then next weekend, the Gers will face Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
