Leicester continued their march towards the Premier League title with a 2-0 victory over the Black Cats away from home at the Stadium of Light.
England international striker Jamie Vardy scored both goals for the Foxes, who are 10 points clear at the top of the league table at the moment.
Former Newcastle striker Shearer has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Leicester’s win, expressing his admiration of the way they are calm and are showing no nerves.
Ex-Leicester City striker Gary Lineker has also given his reaction to the win on Twitter, while well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has made an interesting observation about manager Claudio Ranieri on the social networking site.
10 points. I think I might cry.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) April 10, 2016
Considering Ranieri's English, nobody will ever say again this or that manager can't manage in the PL because his English is poor #yeahright— Guillem Balague (@GuillemBalague) April 10, 2016
It has been a remarkable story for Leicester this season, who should now win the Premier League title.
It is hard to see the Foxes suffer a major collapse in the final weeks of the campaign, and it is only a matter of time before the inevitable happens.
