The Tottenham defender has been discussing Sunday afternoon's clash with Manchester United.
Toby Alderweireld has sent a confident warning to Manchester United ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League clash against the Old Trafford side on Sunday, according to the club's official website.
Tottenham host Man United at White Hart Lane knowing they lost the reverse fixture in Manchester earlier this season.
But the Belgian defender says a lot has changed since then, emphasising what he and his team-mates proved against Liverpool last weekend.
Alderweireld told the Tottenham site: "A lot has changed since the first game against United. Our team has played better and better as the season has gone on and now we have to show it for the last few games.
"We are playing well and showing great character and determination. We showed last week at Liverpool that we do not give up in matches, we showed real spirit to come back and draw after falling behind and we had chances to win the game as well."
All eyes will be on Spurs on Sunday, of course. The pressure is on for the north London side to deliver against Manchester United.
Even if Leicester City lose to Sunderland, they'll still have a seven-point lead over Tottenham until Mauricio Pochettino's men kick off - and United's superior record against the White Hart Lane outfit in recent years has been well documented.
Obviously, a win against United is the aim for Alderweireld and co regardless of Leicester's result. And, as the Belgian says, a lot has changed since Tottenham's trip to Old Trafford.
Can the north London side overcome Louis van Gaal's men on Sunday?
