The two sides meet at Upton Park in a huge Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners travel to Upton Park looking to continue their winning streak as they aim to win all their remaining Premier League games this season.
It will be far from an easy game against Slaven Bilic’s side though, who are pushing for a top-four place and famously beat their rivals on the opening day of the season.
Nicholas though, believes his former side will get their revenge in Saturday’s game, but concedes that he may be making the decision from his heart, rather than his head.
“This is a game that I've had down for some while as a must-win to keep Arsenal in the title race,” he told Sky Sports. “It's a similar case for the Hammers' top-four aspirations. Dimitri Payet and co. seem to relish these games, but, perhaps with my heart ruling my head, I'm going for Arsenal to edge it.”
Two men who will be key in the game will be attacking midfielders Dimitri Payet and Mesut Ozil.
The two have been in sensational form, with the Frenchman arguably among the signings of the season as he has become the star of the show at Upton Park.
Ozil, in contrast, has enjoyed his best season yet with the Gunners and is currently chasing Thierry Henry’s Premier League assist record in a season.
Which man comes out on top in this game is sure to be key to which side take home all three points.
