The teenager thrived against Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
Cheikhou Kouyate and Mauro Zarate scored in the game, with Arsenal newbie Petr Cech not enjoying the best of Premier League debuts for his new club.
It was a fantastic win for the Hammers and there was one player that really stood out.
The player in question was teenager Reece Oxford.
The then 16-year-old was making his Premier League debut for the club and had Arsenal star Mesut Ozil in his back-pocket throughout the game.
Since that game Oxford has been, rightfully so, used sparingly – as West Ham look to see him develop in the under-21s first.
But should he play today?
The teenager had such an impressive game against Arsenal on the opening day of the season it must be a temptation for Slaven Bilic to throw Oxford into the starting XI once again.
It would be a shock move from the boss considering that Oxford has not been an automatic first-choice this season.
But it might just prove to be a masterstroke.
