Leeds could have taken something from the game if Chris Wood had taken his chances.
Leeds United have been beaten at Turf Moor today, as Burnley stretched their lead at the top of the Championship table.
It was a game in which Leeds could easily have come away with at least a point, as Burnley were not at their best.
But they did the damage inside the opening minute.
Recently capped Canadian international Scott Arfield scored an early goal, a goal which proved to be the only one of the game in a fairly tame affair.
Leeds had their chances. Chris Wood was wasteful in front of goal, missing two close-range headers which might have given Leeds points.
Unfortunately, he failed to hit the back of the net and in the end Leeds lost, meaning they are without a win in the Championship in their past four games.
"When you get your chances, you have to take them, and Leeds have had two fantastic chances headed wide.
"There are some positives to come out of the game but the be all and end all of it is that they've lost.
"If Chris Wood had got that first header, it would have been a different story.
"It was a nervous Burnley and Leeds were putting them under lots of pressure but not taking any of their chances."

Leeds played well at times and deserved something against the table-toppers.
Unfortunately, being wasteful in front of goal has cost them.
