The Liberty Stadium played host to Angel Rangel's 300th Swansea game - and a fine win for the Welsh side over Guus Hiddink's men.
Fer congratulated both Rangel personally and his team-mates overall.
But will the QPR midfielder, on loan at Swansea, be moving to Wales on a permanent deal?
The benefits for Fer are obvious, of course. Swansea are guaranteed Premier League football next season and they are the first top-flight side in England the midfielder hasn't been relegated with!
QPR also appear to function better without the Dutchman, meanwhile. The R's won on Saturday and have generally been in good form of late.
The decision, then, falls to Swansea. If the Welsh outfit want the QPR man on a permanent basis, the 26-year-old would surely jump at the chance to stay next season.
