Ian Taylor reacts on Twitter to Aston Villa loss... ironically, players feel the same

Aston Villa Sign

Villa got a goal... but lost yet again v Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Ian Taylor kept things simple on Twitter after Aston Villa's 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The Midlands outfit managed to grab a goal at home against the Cherries... but there was no sign of any points as Villa lost yet again.

Taylor's reaction was swift. He insisted that the end of the season just can't come quick enough for Villa fans.

And, ironically, the players will probably agree.

They're playing like it, of course, and have been for some time. It's as though the Aston Villa first team decided there's now way of staying up months ago.

As deplorable as their lack of effort has been, at least they showed they can predict the future. Villa haven't been good enough since day one, even when they managed to sneak a win against Bournemouth during the reverse fixture.

Next up for Villa is a trip to Old Trafford - no place for a side low on confidence. Supporters probably aren't looking forward to that one. Taylor, meanwhile, is counting the days until the summer...
