Graham Roberts celebrates West Ham's draw, sends rallying message to Spurs players

Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has celebrated West Ham's draw with Arsenal.

West Ham United drew 3-3 at Upton Park with Arsenal this afternoon, prompting a celebration from Tottenham legend Graham Roberts.

A topsy-turvy game saw Arsenal race into a 2-0 lead at Upton Park thanks to goals from Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, before an Andy Carroll hat-trick handed West Ham a 3-2 lead.

Laurent Koscielny clinched a draw for Arsenal in the second half, doing little to help Arsenal's push for the title or West Ham's hopes of Champions League qualification.

The result was something of a boost for Tottenham though, as Arsenal were gradually closing in on Spurs in second place, but Mauricio Pochettino's men have the chance to open up a gap again when they take on Manchester United on Sunday.

Spurs can move six points clear of Arsenal with a win tomorrow, and they will be hoping that three points can guide them closer to Leicester City and the Premier League title.

After the final whistle of West Ham v Arsenal, Spurs legend Graham Roberts took to Twitter to offer a surprise word of thanks to the Hammers for earning the draw against Arsene Wenger's men.

Roberts also offered a rallying message to Tottenham stars Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Erik Lamela, Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld, Kevin Wimmer ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester United, attempting to support the Spurs players towards a win.
