Celtic fans divided on Twitter when reacting to Colin Kazim-Richards' Motherwell performance

Celtic's Colin Kazim-Richards has divided opinion today.

Celtic moved one step closer to winning the Scottish Premiership title for a fifth straight season, having beaten Motherwell 2-1 this afternoon.

Leigh Griffiths - who had missed penalty earlier tin the game - swooped on the stroke of half-time to put Celtic 1-0 up at Fir Park, before ex-Bhoys striker Scott McDonald hit back against his former club to draw the home side level.

It looked like being a frustrating afternoon for Ronny Deila's men, but top goalscorer Griffiths did strike the winner after 75 minutes, as his shot was fumbled into the net by goalkeeper Connor Ripley to hand Celtic the win.

Now eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, Celtic look to have the title in the bag, with Aberdeen losing against Hearts earlier today.

After the final whistle, fans took to Twitter to give their reactions, and a popular topic was the performance of January signing Colin Kazim-Richards, who arrived from Feyenoord.

It was just his third start for Celtic, and Kazim-Richards appeared to be playing more of a wide role today, rather than his preferred centre forward role where he can use his strength and hold-up ability.

Celtic fans seemingly just couldn't agree on Kazim-Richards' performance, with many suggesting that he had an impressive game and was key to the result, tipping the volatile forward to play in next weekend's huge game against Rangers.

Others weren't quite so impressed with Kazim-Richards, questioning why manager Deila even brought him in, and continues to play him over youngsters like Ryan Christie.
