67 touches, 50 accurate passes; Manuel Lanzini stars in West Ham draw with Arsenal

West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini was in fine form at Upton Park as his side drew 3-3 with Aston Villa this weekend.

In a scintillating London derby, the Hammers came back from two goals down to go 3-2 up, with a hat-trick from Andy Carroll the standout display.

It was the giant forward who arguably grabbed the headlines as a result as he scored only the second hattrick of his career.

Aside from him though, there were a number of top performers in the side as they all but ended Arsenal’s title challenge.

One of those who shone was midfielder Manuel Lanzini, who put in an eye catching performance to continue his fine first season at the club.

In total he posted 67 touches in the game, the second most of any West Ham player, with just one of those proving to be unsuccessful.

His passing was particularly impressive as he managed 50 accurate passes in total, the most of anyone in his team, and enjoyed an overall passing of 94%, again the highest.

He also enjoyed himself in the final third as he completed 18 passes in that area of the pitch, resulting in two key passes to round off an another exciting performance.
