The 20-year-old is arguably Aston Villa's most promising player.
Young midfielder Jack Grealish has proven his love for Aston Villa on Twitter tonight.
The 20-year-old Birmingham native is hugely talented, but some minor off-the-field issues over the past 12 months or so has prompted concern for both his professionalism and his attitude.
His decisions away from the football pitch have been questioned, but not many would doubt his potential on the field after emerging as a hugely promising talent this season.
Given his talent, it would not be in the least bit surprising if he was linked with another top-flight club in the coming months, but if his latest post on Twitter is anything to go by then Villa fans might look forward to seeing him in claret and blue next term - despite the demotion.
Of course, fans could be forgiven for taking gestures like this with a pinch of salt by virtue of the fact that loyalty certainly appears to be a rare thing in top-level football these days.
If he develops in the way he is supposed to, it will be very difficult for Villa's hierarchy to keep hold of him regardless what division they are in, but for the moment he seems content with life at his boyhood club.
A lack of fitness has largely prevented Grealish from having the type of breakthrough season that he once looked like having under manager Tim Sherwood - who was sacked in October - as he managed just nine Premier League starts.
