Micky Hazard and ex-Tottenham manager send strong messages to Kane on Twitter

Defence - Spurs v Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has won the Premier League Player of the Month for March.

Micky Hazard has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Lane winning the Premier League Player of the Month award for March.

The England international, who has been in superb form for Tottenham so far this season, scored five goals in four matches last month to keep the North London outfit in the hunt for the league title.

The 22-year-old striker scored against Arsenal, Aston Villa (two) and Bournemouth (two) last month.

Kane saw off competition from West Ham United attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet, Leicester City duo Wes Morgan and Riyad Mahrez, Southampton striker Graziano Pelle and Swansea City defender Ashley Williams to win the prestigious individual prize.

Former Tottenham midfielder Hazard has taken to Twitter to make a defiant statement about Kane, with ex-Spurs manager Osvaldo Ardiles also praising the young striker on the social networking site.

Kane started the season slowly, but he is in brilliant form at the moment and will be key to Tottenham winning the Premier League title this season.

The youngster has scored 22 goals and created 40 chances in 32 league matches for the North London outfit so far this campaign.
