Martin Keown predicts Sunderland v Leicester City

Sunderland Gates

Sunderland and Leicester City will face each other in the Premier League on Sunday.

Former Arsenal star Martin Keown has predicted in The Daily Mail that Leicester City will drop points against Sunderland in the Premier League this weekend.

League leaders Leicester will take on relegation candidates Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon.

“First of all, I think Sunderland will get something from their match with Leicester,” former Arsenal star Keown wrote in The Daily Mail.

“There is huge pressure on both sides going into the game, and I fancy Big Sam to make his experience count to help Sunderland avoid the drop.”

Leicester are seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.

Claudio Ranieri’s side will be favourites to win against Sunderland, but they will be given a run for their money.

The Black Cats are fighting for survival in the Premier League at the moment, and the players will give their all.

A draw is not entirely impossible, but Leicester should be able to pick up all three points from this encounter.

The first 15 minutes of the match will be important. If the Foxes go 1-0 up during this period, then they are likely to finish the game as winners.
