Former Arsenal defender and current pundit Martin Keown has told the Daily Mail that he thinks Tottenham Hotspur will ease past Manchester United this weekend.
Spurs drew 1-1 away at Liverpool last weekend, but any believe that their title hopes have now drifted away after Leicester beat Southampton 1-0 on Sunday, meaning Tottenham now lie seven points adrift of the Foxes at the top of the Premier League table.
A win will be needed this weekend is Spurs are to hold out hope of clinching top spot, and they face a tricky match against Manchester United at White Hart Lane, with the Red Devils looking for a Champions League spot.
Louis van Gaal's men beat Everton 1-0 last weekend, and will travel to North London with the hope of snatching a result against Mauricio Pochettino's high-flying side.
Now, former Arsenal defender and current pundit Martin Keown has offered his confident prediction for the game to the Daily Mail, claiming that he thinks Spurs will in the game against United easily, having been 'unlucky' not to beat Liverpool last weekend.
Keown suggested that Tottenham - who have beaten Manchester City twice this season - have performed well against some of the Premier League's bigger sides, and thinks that is something that has dramatically changed under Pochettino.
"I can see Tottenham winning easily against Manchester United," said Keown. "They have done well against the bigger teams recently, and this never used to the case. They were unlucky not to beat Liverpool last week but I could see this weekend going in their favour," he added.
