Henrikh Mkhitaryan reacts on Twitter to draw with Liverpool

Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool played out a 1-1 draw in the Europa League on Thursday.

Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s result against Liverpool at home on Thursday evening.

Dortmund played out a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Signal Iduna Park in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.

Divock Origi put the Reds in the lead in the 36th minute, and Mats Hummels scored the equaliser for the home team just three minutes into the second half.

Mkhitaryan, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, featured for the entire 90 minutes.

The 27-year-old Armenia international has taken to Twitter to have his say on the final result at Signal Iduna Park.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Signal Iduna Park on Thursday evening, hosts Dortmund had 63% of the possession, took 16 shots of which seven were on target, and earned five corners.

Visitors Liverpool had just 37% of the possession, took 13 shots of which six were on target, and earned one corner.
