Carl Ikeme sends heartfelt message to Wolves teammate Michal Zyro on Twitter

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Michal Zyro faces a length spell on the sidelines.

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at the long-term injury suffered by his teammate Michal Zyro.

The 23-year-old winger faces a length spell on the sidelines with multiple knee ligament damage.

The Poland international suffered the injury during Wolves’ 2-1 victory over Milton Keynes Dons away from home at Stadium mk in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

According to BBC Sport, Zyro, who joined Wolves from Legia Warsaw in the January transfer window, could be out for a year.

Ikeme has taken to Twitter to send a heartwarming message to Zyro, who has scored three goals and created five chances in five Championship appearances for Wolves.

Wolves are 12th in the Championship table at the moment with 52 points from 40 matches. Kenny Jackett’s side are 15 points behind Derby County, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the playoff spot.
