Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have been left very disappointed after learning about the severity of Michal Zyro’s injury.
Zyro damaged his knee ligaments during Wolves’ match against Milton Keynes Dons in midweek.
The Polish winger was the victim of a poor challenge from MK Dons defender Anthony Kay.
And the Express and Star suggest that Zyro could now be out for up to a year with knee ligament damage.
Zyro is the third Wolves player to pick up the same injury this season - with Nouha Dicko and Jordan Graham already long-term absentees.
Graham has already tweeted his support of his teammate, but his absence is a major blow for Wolves supporters.
Zyro had impressed during his first few appearances for the Midlands side, and his spell on the treatment table looks set to be a major blow.
Another one on the long term medical table, injuries have been a joke this season . All the best to zyro, gutted #wwfc— Danny Powers (@Danny_Powers) April 6, 2016
Gutted for Zyro. Don't get much luck with injuries do we. #wwfc— Benjamin Clifton (@Im_benny_c) April 6, 2016
Zyro out for a year? My polish driver Legia Warsaw mate was right. Said when we signed him he'll hardly play #WWFC— Simon Pearce (@TwineeSi) April 6, 2016
Zyro has played seven appearances for Wolves so far, scoring on three occasions.
