West Ham United are set to take on Arsenal on Saturday.
Ray Wilkins has told The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on TalkSPORT, which was broadcast on the morning of 7th April, that he feels West Ham United will beat Arsenal at the weekend.
The Hammers are set to face Arsene Wenger’s side at Upton Park in what could be a hugely important match for both side’s seasons.
If West Ham can win they will continue to put the pressure on both Arsenal and Manchester City, as they look to stake a claim for a top four spot.
Arsenal, meanwhile, need the three points to keep their own title ambitions alive - as they look to close the gap on Leicester City at the top of the table.
The Gunners are currently 11 points behind Leicester, and their hopes of winning the title will surely be over if they do lose to Slaven Bilic’s side.
Wilkins believes that the prospect of Arsenal being defeated is a real possibility, and the former Aston Villa assistant manager has backed the Hammers to pick up a victory.
“I’m looking forward to it immensely,” Wilkins said. “I think West Ham have been one of the sides of the season. I think they might even turn the Arsenal over.”
West Ham go into their match against Arsenal having drawn their last match 2-2 with Crystal Palace. The Gunners won their most recent outing 4-0 against Watford.
