Sullay Kaikai has been one of League One's standout players this season.
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony seems to have ruled out signing Crystal Palace youngster Sullay Kaikai on loan next season.
Kaikai has been in excellent form while on loan at Shrewsbury Town in League One this term.
The attacker has scored 11 times in 23 matches for the Shrews this term, and he has become one of the most feared players in the division.
Kaikai has netted in each of his last five appearances for Micky Mellon’s side, and he is likely to be in demand in the summer.
Peterborough are generally tipped to be one of the favourites for promotion from League One, but MacAnthony seems to suggest that he’s heard Palace intend to keep hold of Kaikai for their own first-team next season.
@LiamPitch Think he might be involved with Palace 1st team squad next season. Lovely player.— Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) April 5, 2016
Palace have struggled to bring through any home grown talents in the last two seasons.
However, there have been suggestions that both Kaikai and Hiram Boateng could be utilised in Alan Pardew’s senior squad next term, as the Eagles aim to increase the productivity of their own youth-system.
