Matt Le Tissier predicts whether West Ham United will make the top four

West Ham United are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table.

Matt Le Tissier has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on the morning of 7th April, that he doesn’t believe West Ham United will make it into the top four.

The Hammers are chasing a Champions League spot this season, and they currently sit just three points behind Manchester City.

West Ham are in sixth place as things stand, but Le Tissier believes that they may just fall short of qualifying for Europe’s top competition.

“No, I think they’ll just miss out,” the Southampton legend said. “They have some tough fixtures left and they have to overhaul both Manchester United and Manchester City. I think they’ll just miss out.”

West Ham have surpassed all expectations to even be competing for a top four spot at this stage of the season.

However, Slaven Bilic’s side may be disappointed if they do not manage to break into the Champions League qualification spaces now.

West Ham have been in wonderful form in 2016, and they have managed to make up a lot of ground on the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.

If the Hammers are able to beat Arsenal at the weekend, they will move level on points with City - ahead of Manuel Pellegrini’s side’s game against West Bromwich Albion.
