Forget about all those sophisticated recruiting techniques. Here's a simple way to select the right candidates for jobs.
Simply put about 100 bricks, in no particular order, in a small room with an open window. Then send in candidates in groups of 3, and lock the door.
Leave the candidates for around 6 hours, then return and analyze the situation.
If you find that the candidates are counting the bricks, stick them in product accounting.
If they are re-counting them, put them in audit.
If there are bricks everywhere, and they have messed up the whole place, put them in media relations.
If they are arranging the bricks in some kind of strange order, stick them in strategic planning.
If they are throwing the bricks at each other, put them in front office.
If they are sleeping, put them on Reception.
If they are sitting there idle, stick 'em in Human Resources.
If they have left for the day, put them in sales.
And last, but not least:
If they are talking to each other and not a single brick has been moved, congratulate them and put them on the Board!
