Carlton Palmer reacts on Twitter to Tony Pulis speculation

Tony Pulis Interview - 23/02/2014

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly set to offer manger Tony Pulis a new contract.

Carlton Palmer has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to speculation that West Bromwich Albion will offer manager Tony Pulis a new contract.

Pulis has been in charge of West Brom since January 2015 and has a contract until June 2017.

According to The Telegraph, the Baggies will offer a new deal to the Welshman. Former West Brom midfielder Palmer has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the speculation.

Pulis is a specialist in keeping teams up in the Premier League, and from that perspective he has done well at West Brom so far.

The Baggies are 11th in the league table at the moment and could end the season in the top half.

When one considers that clubs such as Everton, Sunderland and Newcastle United are below West Brom in the Premier League standings, then one has to give credit to Pulis.

The problem with Pulis is that his footballing style is dull and direct, and perhaps he needs to address that.
