Rangers have won the Scottish Championship title this season and have won automatic promotion to the top flight of Scottish football.
Mark Warburton’s side clinched the title with a 1-0 victory over Dumbarton at Ibrox in Glasgow on Tuesday evening.
The Gers will face Peterhead in the final of the Scottish Challenge Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers’ game immediately after that will be against Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Former Rangers goalkeeper Goram has taken to Twitter to revel in his old club’s promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
The former Scotland has also appeared confident of the Gers winning their next two matches.
Congratulations to the Staff, the Players and the Fans on a successful return to where we belong.. Bring on the next two games!!— Andy Goram (@thegoalieAG) April 7, 2016
Rangers’ main priority this season was to gain automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership, and that mission has been accomplished.
The Gers now have the chance to win a fantastic treble, and they should get the better of Peterhead with relative ease this weekend.
The match against Celtic will be tough, though, as the Bhoys are a very strong team and are in good form at the moment.
