The West Ham goalkeeper is delighted with the bond he has developed at Upton Park.
Indeed, the Spaniard says he is 'very proud' of the relationship he has developed with supporters in east London.
But he admits he could never have foreseen such a bond...
Adrian told the West Ham site: "I never imagined when I first signed that I would have such a strong connection with the fans.
"I arrived from Spain but I feel very proud of this relationship and I know the supporters like a player who has a big character and gives everything on the pitch. I try to show this in every game."
Adrian has stamped his mark on West Ham history, of course, and not just through his goalkeeping exploits.
At Mark Noble's Testimonial, the Spaniard ran the length of the pitch and scored at the other end - a moment the Hammers faithful won't forget.
But Adrian's regular saves, which more than make up for the odd error, are also enough to leave him with a strong West Ham legacy.
The shot stopper will have to be at his sharpest to keep out Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend. He'll probably be more worried about Alex Iwobi than Theo Walcott...
