Celtic midfielder Jamie Lindsay is a target for number of clubs in England for a move next season, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Lindsay is currently on loan at Scottish Championship side Dumbarton and the 20-year-old has caught the eye for The Sons.

The talented midfielder has made 24 appearances for Dumbarton in all competitions this season after joining the club on loan last summer.

Lindsay was named Dumbarton's player of the month for November and December and his performances have alerted a number of clubs.

Lindsay, who began his career at Motherwell, is highly-regarded at Celtic and has been a regular in the club's development squad.

The former Scotland youth international featured in Ronny Deila's first-team plans during last pre-season prior to his loan move to Dumbarton.
