The winger says the mood in the Bhoys dressing room at present is a good one.
Patrick Roberto has told Celtic’s official website that his time at the club so far has been a great experience for him.
The Manchester City youngster has had to wait for his chance in the first team after signing on loan for 18 months back in January.
This week saw him jump into the spotlight as he scored two goals in a win over Hearts before following that up with another solid display in the draw with Dundee.
And he says his time at the club has been great so far, adding that the mood around the training is an increasingly enjoyable one.
“It’s been a great experience so far,” he told celticfc.net.
“I feel even better than I did after the game against Hearts. I’m only young and I feel very good and long may it continue.”
“Everyone has a laugh when they come to training. Even with all the competition it’s fun and enjoyable which is what you need as you don’t want a boring changing room or boring training.”
Roberts will now be hoping he can continue to impress in the Scottish Premiership over the rest of this season and next.
It is fair to say that things have not gone to plan at the Etihad since his arrival from Fulham, and his loan spell at the Scottish champions is an ideal manner in which to keep his development from stalling.
And with Rangers set to return to the top flight next season, there is arguably no better time to be at the club as next season gears up to be an interesting one to say the least.
