Rangers won promotion to the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday night.
Rangers beat Dumbarton 1-0 at Ibrox on Tuesday evening, meaning they have won the Scottish Championship and have achieved promotion to the Premiership.
In front of an expectant Ibrox crowd, right back James Tavernier bagged the winning goal in the second half to clinch all three points and the Scottish Championship title.
Four years after the club's liquidation, Rangers are back in the top flight, and can look forward to regular Old Firm derbies against Glasgow rivals Celtic, though the two teams will also meet in the much-anticipated Scottish Cup semi-final later this month.
Manager Mark Warburton has guided the club superbly this season, winning 25 of his 32 league games in charge, losing just three times as Rangers have coasted to the title ahead of Hibernian and Falkirk.
After the game, a host of ex-Rangers stars took to Twitter to congratulate their former club, with Premier League aces Charlie Adam (Stoke City), Steven Davis (Southampton), Haris Vuckic (Newcastle) and Nathan Oduwa (Tottenham) all celebrating the promotion.
Stars from the 1990's and early 2000's such as Tony Vidmar, Michael Ball, Marco Negri and Peter Lovenkrands also celebrated, whilst more recent ex-Rangers stars like Vladimir Weiss, Maurice Edu, Carlos Cuellar, Filip Sebo and cult hero Nacho Novo also congratulated the Gers.
