Celtic fans react on Twitter with frustration after Hoops can only manage goalless draw with Dundee

The Scottish Premiership leaders extended their lead at the top of the table to five points.

Celtic fans have been left to vent their frustration on Twitter after Ronny Deila's men missed a golden opportunity to stamp their authority on the Scottish Premiership title race.

The Hoops had the chance to move seven points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the table when they took on Dundee at Dens Park. However, the leaders were held to a hugely disappointing goalless draw which means that their lead is now five points heading into the final six games of the campaign.

While Dundee were in the top six before the encounter, the Bhoys would have been expected to take maximum points from the game as they went into the clash off the back of four straight wins, while Paul Hartley's men had won just once in their last six and were recently dismantled by Rangers in the Scottish Cup.

Although a minority of fans tried to remain positive - certainly, Celtic are still comfortably in the driving seat in the race for the title - many were unhappy with the team's inability to break down a side that they should have seen off, and it was Deila that received much of the criticism, with many supporters calling for him to be sacked.

Here is a look at how mainly disgruntled Hoops fans reacted to the stalemate:
