Bayern Munich playmaker Mario Gotze is expected to leave the club this summer.
Having struggled to make an impact at Bayern Munich this season, Mario Gotze is expected to leave this summer - and Liverpool are the overwhelming favourites to sign him.
Gotze, 23, smashed 31 goals in 116 games for Borussia Dortmund, but controversially made a move to their biggest rivals Bayern Munich in 2013, sparking outrage from Dortmund fans.
The German international hit 30 goals in his first two seasons at Bayern, and appeared to be making a great impact under Pep Guardiola before bizarrely fading away this season.
Gotze has made just eight starts in all competitions this season, and only 14 appearances altogether, scoring just four goals in a truly disastrous season ahead of the European Championships in France this summer.
His struggles at the Allianz Arena have sparked rumours that Gotze could leave the club, and many believe he will end up reuniting with his former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Bookmakers have been pricing up odds for where Gotze could be playing next season, and intriguingly, Sky Bet have Liverpool as the 8/11 favourites, with staying at Bayern coming in as the second favourite.
Other clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham are also believed to be in the reckoning, along with Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and former club Dortmund.
To Stay at Bayern 6/5
Borussia Dortmund 8/1
Manchester United 16/1
Real Madrid 20/1
Manchester City 25/1
Paris Saint-Germain 33/1
Do you think Gotze will sign for Liverpool this summer?
