West Ham United striker Jordan Brown joins Championship side Ipswich Town on trial

The teenager does not look like he is going to make it at West Ham.

West Ham United recently snapped up a young striker from Ipswich Town on a free transfer. Sam Ford joined the Hammers at the start of last month after impressing on trial.

Now it looks like a West Ham striker could now be heading in the other direction. Ipswich Town have taken West Ham striker Jordan Brown on trial.

Brown featured for the Tractor Boys under-21 team in a fixture with Barnsley yesterday.

The 19-year-old attacker is out of contract in the summer and it seems he might be on his way out of the club.

Brown, a former England under-17 international, joined West Ham in 2013 from Arsenal and spent time on loan at Chelmsford City last year.

He has made just one appearance for the West Ham first-team during his time at the club.

He came on as a substitute against Astra Giurgiu in a Europa League qualifier at the start of this season. He played just ten minutes as the Hammers were knocked out of the competition by the Romanian minnows.

Hopefully he can earn himself a future at Ipswich and go on to be a success when he leaves West Ham.
