Jurgen Klopp is expected to name a strong first XI for his return to Borussia Dortmund.
Klopp will return to Signal Iduna Park after eight memorable years which yielded two Bundesliga crowns and a Champions League final spot in 2013.
But the 48-year-old, who left Dortmund at the end of last season, will be determined to get one over on his former players - and he is expected to name a strong first XI to prove it.
He could potentially name an identical starting lineup to the one which drew 1-1 with Spurs on Saturday, with Daniel Sturridge spearheading the attack in Germany.
The England striker might well be supported by a three-pronged attacking midfield of Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and James Milner, with Emre Can and Jordan Henderson further back.
In defence, Nathaniel Clyne, Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren and Alberto Moreno are expected to fill the back four, in front of first-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Klopp, who will give his official team news on Wednesday, has given no indication that he views the Europa League as a lesser tournament as of yet and is expected to field his best possible XI.
