The German boss has been a big hit at Anfield since replacing Brendan Rodgers.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager has been a big hit at Anfield since replacing Brendan Rodgers back in October.
Can is among those who have significantly improved under his leadership, becoming a key player in the heart of the Reds midfield and putting in a series of impressive displays.
And he says he enjoys a very, very good relationship with his boss, who often conveys his messages for the team to him in their native German.
“Our relationship is like any other player, but it's also very, very good,” he told Sport1.
“I speak the language he speaks, so that makes it so much easier for both of us,' he revealed.”
“We talk a lot and, on the pitch, he will often tell me something in German. I must then pass on the message to the respective players.”
Can will be hoping he can continue his impressive development under Klopp for the rest of this season and in future.
While several positions in the team could be described as uncertain his is not, with him arguably among the first on Klopp’s team sheet these days.
There is no denying his defensive ability, as he has shown through his continually impressive stats each weekend.
If he can improve his offensive game as well, then Klopp will have the man he needs in the heart of midfield and save his side serious money in future
