The Glasgow giants will clinch the league title if they get the better of Dumbarton at Ibrox in Glasgow.
Winning the Scottish Championship will mean that Rangers will have gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
The Ibrox will be packed tonight, and the atmosphere will be electric with fans hugely excited.
Rangers midfielder Thompson, who is 19 years of age and is on loan at Airdrieonians, and 19-year-old striker Hardie, currently on loan at Raith Rovers, have taken to Twitter to express their excitement.
Preston North End-owned Accrington Stanley striker Andrew Little, who was on the books of the Glasgow giants from 2006 until the end of the 2013-14 campaign, has wished Mark Warburton’s side the best of luck for tonight’s match.
Ibrox under the lights, it's a special place to be on a normal night but tonight is going to be electric. @RangersFC— Jordan Thompson (@x88_j) 5 April 2016

Rangers are in good form at the moment, and they should be able to overcome the challenge posed by Dumbarton with relative ease this evening.
