Mousa Dembele confident Tottenham can get back to winning ways against Manchester United

Spurs lost ground in the Premier League title race last weekend.

Mousa Dembele has told Tottenham's official website that he is confident that Mauricio Pochettino's men will be able to put any disappointment from their draw with Liverpool behind them and get back to winning ways against Manchester United.

Spurs now find themselves seven points adrift of Premier League leaders Leicester City in the title race after they could only grab a point against the Reds while the Foxes were able to defeat Southampton the following day.

But Dembele is confident that if they play how they have played so often this season, they will be able to secure an important win at White Hart Lane.

"Now we look ahead to the next game - you can see Liverpool had a lot of respect for us, Manchester United will have as well and we have to play our football, then we know we can beat any team," he told the club's official website.

Like Liverpool, United are arguably a side that has been disappointing this term but has shown some recent glimpses that suggest that they are starting to get back towards a strong level.

Louis van Gaal's men are unbeaten in their last four and have won their last two games without conceding a goal, so while they are clearly short of their best, they will still prove to be a difficult side for Pochettino's team to break down.

But as the 28-year-old suggested, if Spurs are able to play with the flair that took them into the title race in the first place, then they will certainly fancy their chances of picking up a vital win.
