Bailey Peacock-Farrell made his debut for Leeds last night.
19-year-old goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell made his debut for Leeds United last night and did not let himself down.
The youngster was making his professional debut in front of 17,000 plus fans at Elland Road, and came close to keeping a clean sheet.
He was close to doing so, only conceding a penalty in the 87th minute after Giuseppe Bellusci brought down QPR substitute Sebastian Polter.
Peacock-Farrell was not asked too do too much with QPR not especially ambitious in their approach, but he stood up to the tests put in front of him apart from the penalty, saving an earlier free-kick from Tjaronn Chery.
One of the more impressive aspects of his game was his distribution, being quick to get the ball out, and keep it in play.
Leeds boss Steve Evans has a big decision to come regarding whether to keep the teenager in the side, having only selected him as number one Marco Silvestri was suspended after his sending off against Rotherham United at the weekend.
Peacock-Farrell certainly did enough to merit this becoming a talking point, especially at a stage of the season where the club have little to play for.
Here is a look at how Leeds United fans reacted on Twitter to his performance...
